14 Days of Fortnite Challenges are not part of the Season 7 Battle Pass but are instead available to everyone as a holiday event. One challenge becomes available each day and we have the secret prizes and rewards listed for each challenge.
What are the rewards for each day? Our gifts table shows off the prize you receive when completing a certain challenge. You do not have to unlock them in a consecutive order, just complete the challenge for that day to get the reward! We’ll update this table as we discover each reward and there’s also a prize for completing all 14 challenges.
According to the in-game countdown, the 14 Days of Fortnite Challenges will end at 6AM PT on January 2!
Start of join a Creative server (Day 1)
A fairly simple challenge aimed at getting players to try out the new Creative mode.
All you have to do is enter a lobby, whether it be through Battle Royale or the Creative mode itself, and change the game mode to Creative. Press play, hit the “Start A Server” option, and launch the mode. This should be enough for the challenge but you can always run into the gold rift to get to your island for safe measure.
Visit giant candy canes (Day 2)
Visit two of the four giant candy canes spread across the map. All of them are on hills so it’s best to aim for these at the start of the match! Use our map for the exact locations or check the list below:
- Hill north of Frosty Flights
- Snowy hill southwest of Fatal Fields
- Northeast hill of Shifty Shafts
- Hill north of Wailing Woods
Play matches with a friend (Day 3)
Another fairly simple challenge. Squad up and head into three different matches with a friend to unlock the throwable snowball. Take note that you cannot enter a match with a friend and immediately disconnect. You must either win the match or die normally.
Hit a player with a snowball in different matches (Day 4)
This one requires you to have already completed yesterday’s challenge where you unlock the snowball toy. Equip the snowball into your main emote wheel and throw it at another player during a match. No requirements on distance, just make sure you see the snowball explode when it hits another player. The challenge requires you to do this four times so you’ll have to play at least four matches.
Fly through golden rings in an X-4 Stormwing plane (Day 5)
Golden rings have appeared across the map and its your job to snatch a plane and fly through five of them. Planes spawn locations are pretty common and you can usually find them near the red tent buildings scattered across the map. If not, head over to Frosty Flights to make sure you get one.
We found a total of fifteen golden rings. See them all in the map above!
Search waterside goose nests (Day 6)
Goose nests have appeared near water locations all across the map. Your job is to find a search at least six of them. For each location, the nest should be very close to the water source. Many are also thrown underneath trees.
Use the map to find six of the nineteen locations!
Use Boogie Bombs or Presents! (Day 7)
Use a combined total of seven Boogie Bombs or Presents. You’ll typically find these items in chests so make that a priority for completing this challenge. Presents are items recently added that gives you a throwable item like the Port-a-Fortress. The present that spawns is one building segment tall and wide with a legendary item inside. Boogie Bombs come stacked in two.
Simply inflict damage with eight different types of weapons. Doesn’t matter how much, as long as it counts as damage. These can include:
Dance in front of different Holiday Trees (Day 9)
Beautifully decorated trees have appeared all over the map and it’s your job to find them and boogie down in front of them. You’ll have to do this with nine of the twelve trees.
Land tricks in a vehicle at different named locations (Day 10)
Get yourself an ATK, Quadcrasher, or even a Shopping Cart and start soaring through the sky to activate and land tricks. Launch yourself off a ramp or cliff and make sure to land parallel with the ground. You don’t even have to go that high, going over about a single building segment worth of height will activate the trick meter. Do this in ten different named locations:
- Junk Junction
- Haunted Hills
- Pleasant Park
- Snobby Shores
- Tilted Towers
- Shifty Shafts
- Dusty Divot
- Salty Springs
- Fatal Fields
- Wailing Woods
- Lonely Lodge
- Retail Row
- Lucky Landing
- The Block
- Lazy Links
- Paradise Palms
- Tomato Temple
- Loot Lake
- Polar Peak (new)
- Frosty Flights (new)
- Happy Hamlet (new)
Thank the bus driver in different matches (Day 11)
It’s an easy one but a challenge that is super important. As you ride on the battle bus at the start of a match, simply thank the bus driver before deploying. You’ll need to thank the bus driver eleven different times, each time in a different match. Not sure how to do this? On PC, the thank button is defaulted to B. For PS4, XBO, and Switch, hit down on the D-pad. On mobile, hit the emote button.
Destroy snowflake decorations (Day 12)
Find and break down 12 snowflake decorations. Towns and named locations have small snowflake decorations hanging from buildings and random fixtures. You’ll usually find them in groups and each single snowflake counts to your total. Head to these locations and start bringing them down!
No map needed for this ones. Bigger towns like Tilted Towers, Pleasant Park, and Happy Hamlet have plenty of snowflakes hanging from rooftops, streetlights, and windows. You’ll find them at gas stations and smaller buildings across the map too.
Place Devices on a Creative Island (Day 13)
Another challenge to get you to try the new Creative mode. From the main menu of Fortnite, hit the Creative option and press play once you’re in the lobby. You can also select Creative in the playlist options if you’re already in a Battle Royale lobby. Once it loads up, enter the golden rift to reach your own personal island.
Your job is to place 13 devices on your island. An easy task that may be a bit confusing for first-time Creative users. To start, open your object inventory by hitting the same button you use to access your weapon inventory in Battle Royale. From the tabs at the top, select the “Devices” tab. Equip traps, vehicles, scoreboard, player spawn, or whatever you like.
Now that you have the devices equipped, build at least 13 floor building segments. Equip your devices by accessing the last option in your building menu (where you normally find Traps, Chillers, etc.) and start placing your devices on the floor segments. Place the thirteenth device to complete the challenge!
Search Chests (Day 14)
Epic is ending their festive event of challenges with a simple task of opening 14 chests. You can easily complete this one as you play through different matches but if you’re looking to complete it in one go, try heading to one of the bigger named locations like Pleasant Park, Paradise Palms, or Happy Hamlet. Pick a location further from the battle bus to better your chances of finding chests. The farther you land, the less likely other players will follow.
And that wraps it up for all 14 challenges! A nice mix of neat rewards and fun challenges.
