The Pokemon Company announced that the next installment of its core Pokemon RPG series is arriving in late 2019 on the Nintendo Switch. This core game, which was teased last year at E3, is not to be confused with Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee.
“Now today I can only tell you of it’s existence, but it’s another game we’re pouring all of our creativity into” said longtime Pokemon director, producer, and composer Junichi Masuda, who is directing the title.
“I hope you look forward to it while also enjoying Pokemon Quest and Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee.”
The series will also “follow in the tradition of Pokemon X and Y and Pokemon Sun and Moon.”
Masuda had no comment on if this core RPG will be compatible with Pokemon Let’s Go.
