DC Reduces Logos to Emphasize Art on New Variant Covers

No logos and inconspicuous titles.

DC Comics has a new look for its variant covers, and it puts the focus on the art.

Comics Beat reports the new trade dress has no logos and contains an inconspicuous variant cover box, UPC box, titles, and credits all located at the bottom of the covers. This all makes for more a cleaner, focused look with an emphasize on the artwork.

You can check out two examples of the new design below featuring Jim Lee’s variant for BATMAN #45 and John Romita Jr’s variant for NIGHTWING #44.
