Diablo III: Eternal Collection for the Nintendo Switch will be released on November 2, 2018, which also happens to be the first day of BlizzCon 2018.
Announced via Twitter, Diablo III: Eternal Collection is available for pre-purchase on the eShop now and will cost $59.99 USD.
This newest version of 2012’s Diablo III includes the original game, Reaper of Souls expansion, Rise of the Necromancer pack, and all content updates.
In addition, the Nintendo Switch version supports 4-player co-op and arrives with exclusive Nintendo-themed items, including the ‘Legend of Ganondorf’ cosmetic armor set, a Tri-Force portrait frame, a Chicken pet, and ‘Echoes of the Mask’ cosmetic wings.
While certain Switch games will not support cloud saves when Nintendo Switch Online launches next Tuesday, Diablo III: Eternal Collection will and Blizzard has said that while cross-platform play won’t be supported at launch, it is “interested in and exploring” the option.
We may learn more about Diablo III: Eternal Collection during tonight’s 35-minute Nintendo Direct that is focused on upcoming Switch and 3DS games. If not, we don’t have too much longer until we can take Diablo III with us wherever we go.
