Once Amazon Prime Day goes live, I’ll be continuously adding and updating this page with what I think are the best deals. Below are some incredible early Amazon Prime Day deals for you to take advantage of, which I’ll also be updating everyday. Be sure to bookmark this page and check back more than once. I’ll also be adding a second page to highlight the best lightning deals and exactly when they go live.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is Amazon’s way of rewarding Prime members by offering great discounts over a range of categories. Last year, deals lasted for 30 hours. However, deals will be extended to 36 hours this time around. While many consider Amazon Prime Day just another Black Friday, that’s not necessarily the case. According to Amazon, Black Friday is about buying gifts for others (as it’s just before Christmas), but Prime Day is all about treating yourself.

Like our Facebook or Follow our Twitter for Amazon Lightning Deals

A lightning deal is a promotion in which discounts are offered on an item for a short period of time, and usually with limited stock. Follow either of our social pages (Facebook / Twitter) to get a comprehensive list of lightning deals for Amazon Prime Day. We’ll display exactly what and when lightning deals go live to ensure you’re prepared for the best of them.

Check out our latest Daily Deals post for some great deals on the run up to Amazon Prime Day, and also deals from other retailers getting in on the action.

What Deals to Expect on Amazon Prime Day

As usual with Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday, Amazon devices will almost certainly be on sale, so expect discounts on the Fire Stick, Fire Tablets, Kindle and Echo. Last year, we also saw a £50 Amazon gift card going for £45 and I’m predicting another gift card deal along the same lines. In particular, console and gaming subscriptions deals were decent – a PS4 bundled with two games and an additional controller selling at £199.99 was a headline deal and a 15 month PS Plus subscription sold at £29.99.
