Exclusive: ‘Son of Bigfoot’ Trailer Offers a First Look at the DIRECTV Release

Ahead of its exclusive reveal on DIRECTV, we’re happy to bring you this first-look trailer for Son of Bigfoot, an animated, family-friendly adventure movie that’s coming to the satellite service on March 29th. From directors Jeremy Degruson and Ben Stassen, and writers Bob Barlen and Cal Brunker comes this comedic tale about a teenage boy in search of his missing father. But as you might have guessed from the title, his search will turn up quite a few surprises along the way!

Originally released overseas, this French/Belgian picture grossed over $43.6 million and currently has a positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, it’s coming directly to a TV near you thanks to DIRECTV’s exclusive viewing window starting March 29th. Son of Bigfoot will also arrive in theaters and On Demand courtesy of Viva Pictures starting May 4th. Pappy Faulkner, Christopher L. Parson, Marieve Herington and Terrence Stone star, along with familiar names like Yuri LowenthalTara PlattRoger Craig Smith, Cinda Adams (La La Land), Mari Devon, and Kirk Thornton (Justice League) in the supporting cast.

Teenage outsider Adam sets out on an epic and daring quest to uncover the mystery behind his long-lost dad, only to find out that he is none other than the legendary Bigfoot! He has been hiding deep in the forest for years to protect himself and his family from HairCo., a giant corporation eager to run scientific experiments with his special DNA. As father and son start making up for lost time, Adam soon discovers that he too is gifted with superpowers beyond his imagination. But little do they know, HairCo. is on their tail as Adam’s traces have led them to Bigfoot!
