Here’s Where to Preorder the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max

The next generation of iPhone comes out September 21, and iPhone XS and iPhone XR preorders go live tomorrow, September 14. The iPhone XR preorder date isn’t until October 19 and a release date of October 26. If you really want to get yourself a new iPhone, or if you’re one of the careful planners who timed the expiration of a contract to coincide with the arrival of the new phones, here’s what you need to know about the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

The iPhone XS has a 5.8-inch OLED screen and the iPhone XS Max has a 6.5-inch screen, making it the biggest iPhone ever. Both will be available with 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models in space gray, silver and “a new gold finish.”

Prices for the new iPhone XS start at $999 and the iPhone XS Max starts at $1099. An unlocked iPhone XS Max with 512GB capacity is listed at $1449 on Apple’s website, and the iPhone XS Max with 256GB capacity is $1249. The iPhone XS prices are $1149 for 256GB and $1349 for 512GB.

While preorders aren’t up for another day, carriers and retailers already have pages in place to visit when the iPhone XS preorders go live. Some offer email updates, too, so if you don’t want to miss you chance you can get your opportunity delivered directly to your inbox.


You don’t have to go to your cell provider to get yourself a new iPhone. You can just buy one from one of the following retailers instead. They have placeholder pages in place ahead of iPhone XS preorders going live.


There’s a good chance you buy your phone through your cellular service provider, and they’ve put up their own pages for iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max preorders.
