Square Enix first debuted the Kingdom Hearts III ReMind DLC at the E3 2019-adjacent Kingdom Hearts Orchestra concert, with a trailer, which you can watch below and details about what this substantial DLC pack would include. The footage included confirmation of more playable opportunities for Roxas, Aqua, and Riku, seemingly showing the ability to play as these characters during fights set in the same area as the endgame gauntlet of boss battles. The official description, as included along with the latest trailer, reads:
“In the upcoming DLC, players travel to a familiar realm and encounter powerful new bosses. In some of the additional battles, players will be able to switch characters. Players can also obtain additional Keyblades by downloading the free update.”
