Captain America #700 – $5.99

Writer Mark Waid | Artist Chris Samnee (Marvel Comics)

Captain America has reached its landmark 700th issue and Marvel is going all out with an oversized issue featuring two stories. One sees Steve Rogers once again stuck in ice only to wake up to an unfamiliar future, and this time he chooses to save it… by ruling it as King Captain America? Taking on a leadership role didn’t exactly help Cap’s reputation in Secret Empire, so we’re expecting (and hoping) this winds up being a clever subversion of that story to show what Cap in charge ought to look like. The other story is a special treat as an untold tale from Cap’s past is brought to life featuring previously unseen art by comics icon Jack Kirby. Now that’s worthy of celebration.

Domino #1 – $3.99
STL078614

Writer Gail Simone |Artist David Baldeon | Cover Greg Land (Marvel Comics)

With Domino making her theatrical debut in Deadpool 2 played by Zazie Beetz, it’s only natural for Marvel Comics to commission a new series featuring the sharpshooting, luck-manipulating mercenary. And who better to tackle it than one of Deadpool’s finest and funniest writers, Gail Simone?

The Exiles, led by the teleporting Blink, pulls its eclectic roster from across the Marvel multiverse, meaning that virtually any kind of hero could join up. And apparently whatever new threat they’re combating requires the talents of an adorable, cartoon version of Wolverine, so we are absolutely here for it.
