Spider-Man Animated Movie Casts Voice of Miles Morales

Shameik Moore will voice Morales while Liev Schreiber will voice the villain.

Sony Pictures Animation’s upcoming Spider-Man movie has found its Miles Morales in Shameik Moore.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moore will be joined by Liev Schreiber, who’s onboard to voice the film’s villain. The identity of the movie’s main antagonist has yet to be revealed.

In addition to starring as Malcom in the 2015 film Dope, Moore also played Shaolin Fantastic in the Netflix drama series The Get Down and will appear in James Franco’s upcoming drama The Pretenders.

Meanwhile, Liev Schreiber’s acting credits include his starring role as the titular character in the Showtime series Ray Donovan. X-Men fans will also recognize him from his role as Victor Creed in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Sony’s untitled Spider-Man movie will be released on December 21, 2018. According to writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the Morales-focused animated feature will offer a ‘unique filmgoing experience.’ While you patiently wait for its release, take a look at these five things the movie should pull from the comics.
