After a lengthy wait, Universal Pictures unleashed the second trailer for their upcoming Tom Cruise-led feature The Mummy at CinemaCon, and it was met with an incredibly strong positive reaction from the audience, with many praising the epic scale, the blockbuster action, the terrifying horror elements, and the mystery surrounding Cruise’s hero.

As for when we’ll get a chance to check out the new trailer, that’s still uncertain, but rumor has it, it may be debuting this Sunday during the season finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead, which is coincidentally just around twelve days ahead of the release of Universal’s next big-budget film: The Fate of the Furious.

In anticipation of the upcoming trailer, Universal has released a new one-sheet for the film little early, featuring Sofia Boutella‘s ancient villainess giving us a menacing stare with her double irises. Check out the new poster below:

From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.
