‘The Twilight Zone’ Extended Trailer Further Reveals the Twisted Terrors of Jordan Peele’s Series

There is plenty of excitement brewing around the advent of Jordan Peele‘s revival of the classic anthology series The Twilight Zone, with Peele himself acting as the show’s narrator. Not only has Peele been a box office and critical darling with Get Out and Us, but the trailers for his take on The Twilight Zone also look extremely promising.

This new extended trailer from CBS All Access (CBS’s premium streaming service, which you’ll want to acquaint yourself with if you aren’t already familiar) highlights scenes from two episodes in particular, starring Adam Scott and Kumail Nanjiani. But we do get a sense of the rest of the trippy series as well, including its horror and sci-fi elements. Bring it on!

Check out the latest Twilight Zone trailer below. The series premieres on April 1st with two episodes; all subsequent new episodes will air on Thursday starting on April 11th on CBS All Access.

THE TWILIGHT ZONE is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg serve as executive producers along with Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Glen Morgan, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes.

The original “The Twilight Zone” premiered on Oct. 2, 1959 on CBS. The series took viewers to another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. “The Twilight Zone” became a worldwide phenomenon as it used socially conscious storytelling to explore the human condition and culture of the times. It was a journey into a wondrous land of imagination for five years on CBS, from 1959 to 1964. The godfather of sci-fi series, the show explored humanity’s hopes, despairs, prides and prejudices in metaphoric ways conventional dramas could not. Every episode of the original series is available to stream now on CBS All Access.
