Since there were unfinished effects in the SDCC trailer for Venom, we probably shouldn’t expect it online for a few more weeks, but for those that can’t wait, a leaked photo has made its way online…
Even though Marvel Studios sat out San Diego Comic-Con, there’s still a very strong possibility that a Marvel movie ends up being the most-talked-about trailer of the weekend.
A new trailer for Ruben Fleischer’s Venom debuted last night and was met with a thunderous response from the audience as Sony Pictures finally unleashed the titular antihero (Tom Hardy), who promptly proceeded to deliver brutal beatdowns to a variety of villains, human and symbiote alike, and closed out his showcase by eating a guy’s head clean off his body.
Well, actually, it probably wasn’t clean.
Unfortunately, that trailer isn’t expected to be released online for at least a few more weeks since there are VFX shots that still need to be completed, but one fan has taken it upon himself (or herself) to snap a photo of the titular beast – and he looks quite terrifying as he smiles down at his latest victim.
