Black Panther is out on Blu-ray today, and as is the case with modern releases, there are lots of ways to bring the movie home. We went ahead and visited the major retailers to find and break down each different package. There are ultra-high definition releases, special retailer editions, and more.

If you want to buy the movie digitally, there are options for that below the physical releases.

Black Panther 4K UHD Blu-ray Combo Pack

004Panther

If you want the best possible picture and have a 4K TV, and want all the extra bonus features found on the regular Blu-ray, this is the version for you. The 4K edition is super crisp, super clean, and one of the best UHD Blu-rays out there right now with most of the film shot in 3.4k. You get the 4K UHD Blu-ray, the 1080p Blu-ray with the movie and bonus features, and a digital copy.

Black Panther Blu-ray Combo Pack

002Panther

The standard Blu-ray combo pack has the disc and a code for a digital copy, as well as a ton of bonus features. There are behind-the-scenes featurettes, audio commentary, a gag reel, deep dives into the world of the comics, and a behind the scenes sneak peek at Ant-Man and The Wasp.

Walmart Special Edition

006Panther

This specific package is exclusive to Walmart. It has all the great stuff from the Blu-ray release. It’s $20 intead of $20-$25 because it doesn’t have a digital copy – just a Blu-ray.

Best Buy 4K UHD Blu-ray Steelbook Edition

001Panther

This is the version for serious collectors. Best Buy is the only place to get steelbook editions of your favorite movies, and with Black Panther you have the choice of either the Blu-ray combo pack steelbook, or this 4K UHD Blu-ray combo pack. The steelbook is great, and the movies have the same special features as other editions. The price on the 4K UHD steelbook is steep, coming in at $35, but if you’re a serious collector, that’s not bad at all.

Target Special Edition

005Panther

Target also has its own retail-specific packaging for the Black Panther Blu-ray. Not only do you score the movie and all the special features therein, you get a behind-the-scenes gallery book of scenes from the film.

Black Panther Digital Editions

Don’t like physical media? Want to watch Black Panther immediately? Get it digitally. It works across pretty much any device, so you can watch it on the road or even in space!
