A wireless driving wheel controller titled “Project S” is being made for the Xbox One, according to sources speaking to IGN.
According to our source, the controller is being produced by the creators of the Duke revival controller, Hyperkin, and will be shown in prototype form at E3. Take a look at an image provided to IGN by an anonymous source below.
According to IGN’s source, the wheel controller will connect using Xbox’s wireless chip, and the controller’s dock will become a charging dock when put in place.
Rumors have pointed to a Forza Horizon announcement at E3, and such a controller might be a smart complement to any upcoming exclusive Xbox and multiplatform driving games.
Hyperkin has previously made a revival of the original Xbox’s controller, the Duke, which you can see in the unboxing video below.
