Adele weigh loss is trending online: With the new Instagram post, Adele continues to show a dramatic weight loss.
Adele’s recent Instagram article has made the tongue waggle and triggered a debate in the social media about “cultural appropriation”.
The 16-time Grammy winner shared a photo with a bikini top under the Jamaican flag, feathers, gold chains and controversial Bantu-knotted hair.
The hairstyle is known to be traditionally worn by Africans of particular cultural groups and some women of African origin, which triggered calls for cultural appropriation in social media.
“If 2020 could stop being bizarre, Adele will give us Bantu knots and cultural appropriation that nobody asked for,” twittered black writer Ernest Owens.
“This officially marks all top women in pop as problematic,” he added.
The Instagram post in question is an allusion to London’s annual Notting Hill Carnival, which celebrates members of the British West Indies community.

The carnival, which was digitized in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, is one of the largest street festivals in the world and a milestone in the British black calendar.
In June Adele showed her weight loss of 44 kg with a rare picture of her dance.
And it seems that the music superstar has continued her journey into fitness.
Recently, Hello singer Glennon Doyle’s book Untamed: Stop Pleasing, Start Living revealed that she was responsible for her own joy, happiness and freedom – and helped accelerate her weight loss.
“Anyone who has any ability to really let go and surrender with the desire to hold on for dear life – do it. Please read it. Live it. Practice it,” she said.
“I am solely responsible for my own joy, happiness and freedom.”
“Who knew that our own liberation liberates the people around us? Because I did not!!
“I thought we should be stressed and dishevelled, confused and selfless like a Disney character! ProBloodyFound !!Advertisement
